Currently there are 2 dormitory complexes for Skoltech: Palisad Residential Complex (apartments opened in 2020) and Students Quarter Dormitories (rooms opened in 2025). Both are located on Skolkovo Innovation Centre Territory within walking distance from Campus and offer different accommodation facilities.
Both complexes accommodate non-family and family residents. Family accommodation is available only for family members living together and in case marriage is civil (non-church) and is legalized for Russia.
We do not allocate pets except service animals for disabled with proving documents.
Pay attention Palisad is now in the process of movement to Students Quarter and is planned to be closed partly in 2025 and furthermore in 2026.

Registration: For foreign citizens: within 24hrs. For Russian citizens: within 24hrs as the place for temporary stay (non-residence)

Disabled facilities: Elevators in each building, no stairs outside,
wide doors, bathroom is not equipped with special features for disabled
Sport equipment: Board & Table games in some building halls. In-building Gym. Outside activities (coming soon).
In-Building Storage: Do not exist
Difference in features and facilities:
Wi-Fi: Under installation process (currently available via Rostelecom individual selfpayment contract)
Air conditioner: Under installation process (randomly available in some rooms)
Boilers (in case hot water is off): No boilers in building
Hygienic Showers: Do not exist
Bathroom: In each apartment, Showers only (no baths)
Laundry: Washing machines are in some shared apartments only, others use Common Laundry with dryers on the 1st floor
Shared irons & boards are provided on 1st floors in each building
Kitchen: Small kitchens with limited set of cutlery and crockery. No ovens and dishwashing machines. Stoves are induction, purchase of pans and pots is in studentsc side, choose only with plate of 15\18 sm diameter
Tv set: Provided in each apartment
In-Room cleaning: Provided twice per month, included in rent rate
Common chill zone: Almost in each apartment

payment procedure
If you choose to continue living in the dormitories for the fees indicated above, here is how the payment procedure will work:
→ On the 3rd-8th day of each month, you receive an email with an invoice for the previous month to be paid by the 20th day of the month. Please note: invoices for accommodation and for damages, fines, or fees are issued separately.
→ You need to follow the link to pay each invoice separately, clearly stating the email address to which the fiscal receipt should be sent.
❗ If payment is not made on time, a fee of 5,000 RUB will be added to your account.
❗ If the invoice is not paid within one month, we reserve the right to deduct the outstanding amount, together with any penalties, from your scholarship (based on the agreement signed upon your arrival) and/or cancel the student discount and charge you the rack rate.
Of course, we will try to remind you about outstanding invoices; however, this remains at our discretion (it is not an obligatory action on our part). We do not recommend waiting until this point, as it may result in a large deduction at once, which could affect your monthly budget. In the worst cases, the contract may be cancelled and you may be required to check out. The Skoltech Disciplinary Board or Scholarship Committee may also become involved and take appropriate decisions.
→ If you are leaving the apartment (checking out), the final invoices will be sent to you before your actual departure and must be paid while you are still in the dorms.
→ You need to follow the link to pay each invoice separately, clearly stating the email address to which the fiscal receipt should be sent.

Get prepared before you send a booking request
Review the accommodation regulations, room options and instructions on how to book a spot. Prepare all the required information.

Submit a booking request
Fill out a booking form via HelpDesk to send a request. Please note: sending a request does not yet confirm your resevation.

Pass assessments
You will receive an email confirming we've seen your request. The email will contain several assessments required for officially booking your spot at the dorms.

Get a booking confirmation and pre-arrival letter
After you complete all assessment, we will process your request (it may take some time). Once your request is booked, you will receive a checklist with the next steps and navigation advice a few days before check-in.

What you'll need to prepare before booking:
- Exact arrival date & time
- Exact departure date (in case it is earlier than the end of current study year)
- Personal preferences (optional)
- Special medical things like allergy, lunatism, epilepsia, apnoe, hard snore, OSD, brain- or heart-diseases – smth what we shall keep in mind while allocating student, etc. This information is needed to make sure we provide you with the best fit possible.
- Acknowledgment of accommodation documents

- Immediately after you complete the booking form below, please send scans of the following migration documents (your own and your family members' if they are arriving with you) to migrationdocs@skoltech.ru:
- passport (all non-blank pages in one file),
- visa (if applicable),
- migration card (if applicable),
- previous registration slips (if applicable)
- marriage certificate (in case of family accommodation)
